Cindy Abrajan  LPC (she, her, hers)

Cindy is a licensed professional counselor who is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys working with individuals ages 13 and up. Cindy holds a passion for working with people of color and marginalized communities. In addition, Cindy has experience supporting clients with navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, emotions, relationships, and life transitions. Cindy‘s approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, with the purpose of establishing safety, trust, and empowerment. Based on a client’s needs and goals, Cindy will integrate CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, and mindfulness interventions. Cindy strives to meet clients where they are while infusing their cultural backgrounds and personal values in the therapeutic space. She supports clients in building an understanding of how early life experiences shape their present selves as well as how to care for themselves. Cindy is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Functional Family Therapy (FFT).

Nicole Hendryx  MFT-IT (she, her, hers)

Nicole is passionate about supporting clients navigating complex trauma, major life transitions, relationship difficulties, neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, chronic illness, and addiction. With years of experience as a crisis intervention counselor, Nicole also has a deep passion for supporting individuals and families impacted by suicide. She has experience working with individuals ages 5+, couples, and families. Nicole takes a warm, collaborative, strength-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach to therapy. Drawing from an attachment-focused and systemic lens, she integrates various evidence-based therapeutic modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. Nicole also holds a 200-hour yoga teacher certification, which informs her mindful and holistic approach to healing. She strives to create a space that feels safe, authentic, inclusive, and nonjudgmental, where clients can move at a sustainable pace, build on their strengths, and feel empowered along the way. Nicole values humor, curiosity, and genuine connection in the therapeutic process.

 

Valerie Hesslink  MS, C-IAYT (she, her, hers)
Yoga Skills Provider

As a yoga practitioner, Valerie initially explored yoga teacher training to deepen her practice in her bigger body. Along the way, she discovered a passion for making yoga accessible to all non-conforming bodies. Credentialed with an MS in Yoga Therapy, she’s weaving her journey as a teacher into offering yoga therapy tools as a powerful and accessible healing mechanism. She focuses on individualized approaches, with a strong emphasis on joy, self-care, and embracing body worth. Breathwork, anatomy, and movement studies continue to fuel her passion. Join her for therapy or group practice—unapologetically, just as you are.

Gisela Hoxha  MSW, CAPSW (she, her, hers)

Gisela is a certified advanced practice social worker with a depth of clinical experience in supporting folks of various ages, identities, and backgrounds. She received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As a therapist, Gisela works with you and your unique strengths to empower you in exploring transformational and lasting change, growth, and healing. Gisela values trauma informed and culturally sensitive practices. In the clinical space, she utilizes a person centered and strengths based approach that is grounded in efforts to decolonize the therapeutic environment. Gisela is also informed by CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, parts work, and mindfulness. As a first-generation immigrant, she speaks fluent Albanian. Beyond her role as a therapist, she enjoys meditation, dancing, yoga, and long nature walks with her rescue dog, Gigi!

 

Elyse Laing  MS, LPC (she, her, hers)

Elyse specializes in ADHD, Autism, and anxiety treatment. She works with kids and adults facing challenges like interpersonal relationship issues, depression, emotional dysregulation, and trauma, in addition to many other life challenges and diagnoses. In addition to psychotherapy, she offers ADHD assessments for children.  Elyse’s approach is client-centered and strengths-based, integrating several therapeutic techniques such as relational therapy, DBT, IFS, interactive and expressive arts therapy, attachment theory, play therapy, and positive psychology. She believes in fostering a safe, supportive space where you can explore your challenges and build on your resilience. Elyse is committed to providing inclusive, gender-affirming, and neurodiverse-affirming care, with the goal to empower clients to gain greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and deeper connection in relationships.

Sigmund “Siggy”  CANINE GOOD CITIZEN, AKC THERAPY DOG SUPREME-IT 

Sigmund is a young male pug originally from Amarillo, Texas. Sigmund’s previous owner decided they were no longer able to meet his needs and posted him on a rehoming site. Sigmund was brought to Wisconsin on February 28, 2021. Since being adopted, Sigmund has earned his Canine Good Citizen title and is currently working towards becoming an AKC registered “Therapy Dog Supreme”. Sigmund utilizes many approaches in his therapy practice, specializing in snuggles, face sneezes, and loud pug snores and snorts. He strives to create a calm, yet fun and engaging atmosphere, as he helps clients process through the challenges of everyday life. 

McKenzie Moore  MS, LPC (she, her, hers)

McKenzie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with teens, couples, and adults. She takes a client centered approach to therapy with an emphasis on building the therapeutic relationship. She has had training in different treatment modalities such as DBT, CBT, ERP, CPT, and tailors treatment to the specific client. This allows her to meet the client where they are at and allows for different treatment options based on the client’s specific needs and goals. McKenzie has had additional training in trauma, substance use, and eating disorders. She also has had experience in working with anxiety, depression, OCD, grief/loss and PTSD. McKenzie is an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist.

 

Lyda Thao  MSW, LCSW (she, her, hers)

Lyda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over five years of enriching clinical experience helping people navigate life’s challenges. Lyda holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has clinical experience that spans across community mental health, schools, and assisted living facilities, working with clients from across the lifespan ages 4 to 80. Lyda’s approach is warm, client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to the client’s needs. Lyda draws from Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Play Therapy, Family Systems Theory, EDMR, and and Narrative Therapy.

Asly Warren   MS, LPC-IT (she, her, hers)

Asly Warren is a mental health therapist with several years of experience supporting diverse clients across the lifespan. She has experience working with individuals navigating depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, OCD, and trauma. Asly brings a bilingual, bicultural perspective that informs her compassionate, culturally responsive approach to care. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and her Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. As a native Spanish speaker with a background in restorative justice, she is committed to creating a welcoming, affirming space for individuals from all walks of life. Her therapeutic style is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Process Therapy. She believes each person is the expert of their own life and strives to build a collaborative, trusting relationship in which clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. She supports clients in exploring their experiences, developing new coping strategies, and moving toward meaningful, lasting change.

Asly es una terapeuta de salud mental con varios años de experiencia apoyando a clientes diversos a lo largo de su vida. Tiene experiencia trabajando con personas que enfrentan depresión, trastornos de ansiedad, TDAH, TOC y trauma. Asly aporta una perspectiva bilingüe y bicultural que guía su enfoque compasivo y culturalmente sensible en la atención. Obtuvo su Licenciatura en Desarrollo Humano y Estudios de la Familia, así como su Maestría en Consejería, ambas de la Universidad de Wisconsin–Madison. Como hispanohablante con formación en justicia restaurativa, está comprometida a crear un espacio acogedor y seguro para personas de todos los ámbitos de la vida. Su estilo terapéutico se fundamenta en la Terapia Centrada en la Persona (PCT), la Terapia Cognitivo-Conductual (CBT) y la Terapia de Proceso Interpersonal.
