At Insight, we offer:

  • ADHD evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults
  • Adult ADHD groups for those diagnosed with ADHD 
  • Short-term individual psychotherapy for adults diagnosed with ADHD

Process for evaluations
 

For the adult ADHD evaluation

You will complete 5 questionnaires with the therapist as she uses the questionnaires as a structured interview.  You will be asked about your history of ADHD symptoms, physical and mental health, and life experiences and relationships.  All of these can affect ADHD symptoms in different ways.  This typically takes three one-hour virtual sessions.  The therapist will let you know your diagnosis within 2 weeks of the completion of the evaluation.  If desired, the therapist can talk to you about ADHD and various ways to mitigate the issues affected by it.  She will also write up a diagnosis letter for you to use as needed.

Process for individual or group therapy: 

The Insight ADHD clinic offers adult ADHD groups and short-term individual psychotherapy for adults diagnosed with ADHD.  If you would like to see our ADHD specialist, please call us at 608-244-4859 or fill out our online form. Please state the request is for ADHD evaluation specifically.

Our staff will do a screener and either schedule you or put you on a waitlist.

Out of pocket costs for services:

Adult ADHD evaluation: $600 for the full evaluation
Adult individual psychotherapy: $285/therapy hour
Adult ADHD group: $35/group session 

Lynn Hyland  PhD (she, her, hers)

Lynn is a clinical psychologist who has been working in private practice for more than 25 years. She is the Director of Insight’s ADHD Program and offers adult ADHD diagnostic evaluations, short-term, ADHD-focused individual therapy, and adult ADHD therapy groups.  Lynn is quite passionate about her work with adults with ADHD, especially those undiagnosed and untreated into adulthood.  Her practice is focused solely on ADHD and she is accepting new clients for ADHD evaluations, short-term individual therapy, and therapy groups.
