ADHD evaluations
At Insight, we offer:
- ADHD evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults
- Adult ADHD groups for those diagnosed with ADHD
- Short-term individual psychotherapy for adults diagnosed with ADHD
Process for evaluations
For the adult ADHD evaluation
You will complete 5 questionnaires with the therapist as she uses the questionnaires as a structured interview. You will be asked about your history of ADHD symptoms, physical and mental health, and life experiences and relationships. All of these can affect ADHD symptoms in different ways. The ADHD assessment requires 4 virtual mandatory sessions. The therapist will let you know your diagnosis within 2 weeks of the completion of the evaluation. If desired, the therapist can talk to you about ADHD and various ways to mitigate the issues affected by it. She will also write up a diagnosis letter for you to use as needed.
For the child/adolescent evaluations:

For CCS (Comprehensive Community Services) participants:
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer ADHD evaluations to CCS participants due to program restrictions.
Process for individual or group therapy:
The Insight ADHD clinic offers adult ADHD groups and short-term individual psychotherapy for adults diagnosed with ADHD. If you are not currently connected with a therapist, please indicate this on our online form so we can help connect you with one of our therapists for support. Having ongoing therapeutic support is strongly recommended throughout this process.
Our staff will do a screener and either schedule you or put you on a waitlist.
