Group therapy

Intuitive Eating Group

The process of Intuitive Eating is a practice that honors both physical and mental health. Intuitive Eating is aligned with Health at Every Size, because the pursuit of intentional weight loss is a failed paradigm that creates health problems including weight stigma, weight cycling, and eating disorders. All bodies deserve dignity and respect. This psychotherapy group is for those looking to improve their relationship with food and their bodies. There will be a yoga and meditation component each week, so participants should be comfortable getting up and down from the floor.

Details:
  • Facilitators: Jeanne Kolker, LPC, yoga therapist and certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and Nina Clements, clinical intern
  • Cost: Billable to most insurances, or $280 out of pocket.
